Have I caught your attention?
Could this possibly be true??
Can you take one of the most healing liquids on the planet and turn it into a candy that your toddlers will enjoy???
Yes, you can!
But let me preface this with a word of honesty…I can not guarantee that every child will love this recipe as much as my children do. I firmly believe that a child’s taste buds start off as a blank slate and are completely moldable by what their parents choose to expose them too.
Thankfully, we learned about eating truly healthy food when my children were VERY young and because of that, they have been exposed to a lot less sweets and processed foods than many others. They have also been raised on food flavored with bone broth. We also introduced this “treat” when we were in the midst of a very strict healing diet called the GAPS diet. So I’m sure that all played a part in their response to this new dish.
But all that being said, my children were born with no special adaptability in the taste bud region so I’m sure, with time and patience, your child’s taste buds can be molded to the point of considering this treasure chest of nutrients to be a delightful treat as well.
I took a basic ginger gummy recipe and step by step transformed it into what it is today. In the following video I will show you the different adjustments you can make to find what step your child currently enjoys and then let you gradually add more nutritious ingredients later.
