It has been a few weeks since I last updated you on the journey our family is taking toward true health. If you missed that post/video, check it out here.
It has been a complete rollercoaster ride and I have, YET AGAIN, been brought to the point of realizing that I have SOOOO much to learn!
As mentioned last time, we have a couple “average” health issues in our family that the medical community had not been able to remedy so we began searching amongst more natural sources for our answers.
The fact that I kept being brought back to was that all of our issues could be explained by an unhealthy gut…so that needed to be our focus.
But, as you might have gathered from previous posts, we were living a very healthy, gut-friendly lifestyle for the past 2ish years…but apparently it wasn’t enough.
So the first radical diet change we tried was called The Microbiome Diet. Check out the book we used here.
That is where I was during the last video…but unfortunately, over the next several weeks The Microbiome Diet proved to be ineffective for our family. đ
All of our health issues were either remaining or getting worse. Bummer.
But that brings us to today…and I have much better news to share this time around! After 4 weeks of research, prayer, and diligence in a new diet (GAPS diet) we are ON THE MEND!
